Went to Ping today for lunch. Had the Wild Boar Skewers marinated in Vietnamese style spicy red bean curd and lemongrass. Also the Salapoa, a Thai style steamed bun stuffed with sweet shredded pork and fried shallots. Nice side of Sriracha sauce to get my heat on, and all is good (Damn the rain outside!). Got to tell ya, while the boar was flavorful and well cooked, the bun was crazy-good with flavors and textures one could only describe as rich soul food. I want more bun!!!
