por que no?

Did lunch at por que no?  Read about the place on Heidi Von Tagen’s blog, Gorgeous Bits. Justa Pasta

Rissotto with chicken, oyster mushrooms, snap peas, and cherry tomatoes.

Slim Pickens

On the dusty highway east of Boisie. Choices were McD’s, Jack in Box, or Taco del Mar. You see my pick! PFG

Had the pasta today, and it was good.  Fusili with smoked bacon, red onion, zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, garlic, and white wine cream sauce.  This picture does not do it justice, I know, I know, it looks like a spam plate lunch in the Waipahu Indistrial Park (Been there, done that).  Trust me, it did…

Peemkaew

Pearl District great Thai food. I’m home!

Cookie

Best part of going to Grand Central Baking Company for lunch is bringing back my oatmeal cookie!

Downside?  Yup.  Staff.  One word: Rude.  My food was “up”…

Besaw’s

Cobb Salad at Besaw’s is very good.  Nice pea soup, too.  Fun, narrow little place.  Outdoor seating looked good today, given the sunshine that keeps coming out.  Alas, we sat inside.
