Slim Pickens
On the dusty highway east of Boisie. Choices were McD’s, Jack in Box, or Taco del Mar. You see my pick! PFG
My Coffee Choice
I like my iced coffee drink in a paper cup. Iced, grande, non-fat latte in a paper cup. That is my summer drink. Drove the barista at PDX, just now, crazy. “But it is an iced drink,” they say. I know. “You want a hot cup?,” they say. I do. Kids, here is the story. Way…
Berries to come
Morning walk with the kiddies, and am noticing huge clusters of blackberries. More like “greenberries” now, but they will be ripe and delicious come fall. Quite possibly my favorite berry, not so much for the berry itself, but all my fond memories of picking them with family, years ago.
Supplies
Bought some good supplies from Whole Foods and wondering what to make. Got fresh greens and some awesome chicken in the icebox, and now some jerk sauce, chili sauce, and cold summer beer. Posibilities are endless…
Park Kitchen

Amongst other cold and hot plates we enjoyed Salt cod fritters with malt vinegar, Flank steak with blue cheese, parsley and sherried onions, and Semolina pasta with fava beans and duck liver. All tossed down with a couple glasses of cold and crisp Pinot Grigio. Will be back for…
Justa Pasta
Had the pasta today, and it was good. Fusili with smoked bacon, red onion, zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, garlic, and white wine cream sauce. This picture does not do it justice, I know, I know, it looks like a spam plate lunch in the Waipahu Indistrial Park (Been there, done that). Trust me, it did…
Art
Wall art at Peemkaew Thai. Hmm…they have a few of these. Not sure what I think of them. Guess they remind me of mermaids?
