60 Dinner
Kalakaua Avenue basically starts with Tommy Bahama. Went for an early rooftop dinner. Service was top notch, and the Chilean sea bass was outstanding. Wonderful meal. 🥳🍹⛵️🏝️❤️
60th Lunch
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch today at “The First Lady of Waikiki,” the Moana Surfrider. Enjoyed delicious fish tacos and classic mai tai(s) under the historic banyan tree. Special treat was meeting Lupie and Abe, and Mr. Peter who was very kind and gracious. Much aloha, and mahalo to each of you! 🥳🏝️🍹⛵️❤️
More please…
House Without a Key, at The Halekulani. Over 100 years old this hotel. Pretty cool. Nice view of Diamond Head, and the beach. Catch of the Day sandwich just ordered! The mai tai is superb!
Royal Hawaiian
Beach front, live music, view of Diamond Head, Mahi Mahi sandwich, and arguably one of the best mai tais on all of Oahu. Hells yes! 🏝️🍹🥳⛵️
Tapa Bar
Mai Tai number one. HHV. 🏝️⛵️🍹🥳
Too Authentic??
El Ranchito Alegre. Took me back to 1982 El Cajon, California. In fact, that might be the year this place last mopped the floor, or wiped down a table! 3 tacos and some beans. $14. Think I need some tequila to make this work out ok.
Biscuits & Gravy
At La Industria again. The jalapeño cheddar biscuits smothered in chicken chorizo, scallions, and two over easy eggs. Add black pepper and drench it in the house made habanero sauce. Oh my. I come from a long line of West Virginia coal miners who took their biscuits & gravy quite seriously. This stuff is legit!!!
Las 4 Lunas
First time here. Reminds me of a San Diego joint. Three rolled tacos and a tostada. Nice!!
