I have never pickled veggies until today. I’ve seen it done well by others. Gave it a shot. Will let them soak for a couple of days, and then give ‘em a try. I am already scheming my next batch!

The cool and drizzly weather (and the touch of a cold) has me searching for soup. This udon noodle hits the spot quite nicely!!

The Beef Pho at this place is crazy good, especially on a cool and drizzly day.

This half house salad comes with a surprise if you add “deli meat.” Usually part of some charcuterie board ingredients, when added to the salad: Boom! Very tasty and filling. Thank goodness for my neighborhood Stickmen!

Found Oswego Noodle House recently and was immediately drawn to their “PP Wings,” on their menu. Described as possessing “Portland’s renowned sweet chili fish sauce” on tantalizing wings. Well, sadly, “Ike’s Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings” these are not. But hell, it was worth a shot!

Smoked Pastrami Fridays. Hells yes!!

I got a buddy who cooks up insane meals with his wife. Not sure who is the chef and who is the muse, but damn, that is some fine food prep!!
