I usually have Saturday lunch at Stickmen, but their pumpkin regatta fun has caused hundreds of people to show up today. Total zoo. So, short drive to Ancestry and all is well. ☺️
Pickling
I have never pickled veggies until today. I’ve seen it done well by others. Gave it a shot. Will let them soak for a couple of days, and then give ‘em a try. I am already scheming my next batch!

The cool and drizzly weather (and the touch of a cold) has me searching for soup. This udon noodle hits the spot quite nicely!!

House Salad
This half house salad comes with a surprise if you add “deli meat.” Usually part of some charcuterie board ingredients, when added to the salad: Boom! Very tasty and filling. Thank goodness for my neighborhood Stickmen!

Pok Pok Wings?
Found Oswego Noodle House recently and was immediately drawn to their “PP Wings,” on their menu. Described as possessing “Portland’s renowned sweet chili fish sauce” on tantalizing wings. Well, sadly, “Ike’s Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings” these are not. But hell, it was worth a shot!
